Plot:
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is set in the modern world also inhabited by the mythical gods of Mount Olympus, located 600 stories above the famous Empire State Building in New York. The gods have created a new breed of young heroes, half mortal and half divine. Percy, teenage son of Poseidon, is alleged to have stolen the thunder of Zeus, the most powerful weapon in the universe. To prove his innocence and prevent a war devastating among the gods, Percy embarks on an odyssey across the continent in search of the real thief. Along the journey, the boy will face enemies determined to stop him and groped to save his mother from the clutches of another deadly greek god, Hades.
